Banda que mezcla elementos de Glam Metal, Techno, Rock Gótico, Psychedelia y sonido experimental. Finalmente, contiene numerosas temáticas satánicas, celebraciones de maldad, violencia, sexo, pactos con el diablo, y asesinatos masivos. También usan muestras, principalmente de películas de horror grindhouse y documentales sobre crímenes. El 22 de enero de 1996, Lassen Shane fue muerto en un accidente automovilístico. Después de la muerte del Dr.Rev. Luv, la banda se reagrupó y grabó el álbum llamar al Dr. afecto ,dedicándole la canción, un cover de la de KISS canción de la que Lassen sacó su nombre artístico, en su honor.
